Ebooks Grace Draven’s “MASTER OF CROWS” and Jodi Henley’s “HOT CONTRACT”

First up? “EYE OF THE STORM” is available now at Whiskey Creek/Torrid. On Friday, I’m going to ask a question from the dedication of this book and the winners will win a plethora of prizes. So, I hope you’ll go check it out and maybe click buy.

Waaaaaay back in 2006, I joined Romance Divas. I was uncertain, raw and new. RD was having one of their We All Win contests where Divas have excerpt post anonymously and receive critiques from wiser and awesome Divas. It was my first crit EVER. And the first time I saw parts of the following books.
I waited with impatience for Grace Draven and Jodi Henley to reach publication and snapped them up as soon as I could. Now, I’m going to give them away to you. Also up, is my anthology “Worth Every Risk” that I’m in with two other Divas.
So comment and win.

What would you do to win your freedom?

This is the question that sets bondwoman, Martise of Asher, on a dangerous path. In exchange for her freedom, she bargains with her masters, the mage-priests of Conclave, to spy on the renegade sorcerer, Silhara of Neith. The priests want Martise to expose the sorcerer’s treachery and turn him over to Conclave justice. A risky endeavor, but one she accepts without hesitation—until she falls in love with her intended target.

Silhara of Neith, Master of Crows, is a desperate man. The god called Corruption invades his mind, seducing him with promises of limitless power if he will help it gain dominion over the world. Silhara struggles against Corruption’s influence and searches for ways to destroy the god. When Conclave sends Martise as an apprentice to help him, he knows she’s a spy. Now he fights a war on two fronts—against the god who would possess him and the apprentice who would betray him.

Mage and spy search together for a ritual that will annihilate Corruption, but in doing so, they discover secrets about each other that may damn them both. Silhara must decide if his fate, and the fate of nations, is worth the soul of the woman he has come to love, and Martise must choose continued enslavement or freedom at the cost of a man’s life. And love…

Next up is Cup O Noodles aka Jodi Henley.

When Jen Stalling, chief geologist on a new magma-based power plant known as the Pele Project witnesses the murder of a fellow scientist, Project officials don’t want the negative publicity of a murder investigation. “An accident,” they say. Jen knows better. So does her father, billionaire Art Stalling. But having pushed Jen away years ago, he can’t now reveal his interest without exposing her to danger. He hires DalCon, a Seattle-based security group to watch over her.

Keegan Dalfrey has his own problems. Four days ago, during a routine mission gone wrong, his brother was captured by South Pacific extremists. They want two million in ten days. Keegan can make that in nine days by neutralizing the threat to Jen. It’s an all or nothing gamble with his brother’s life in the balance. He never expected to fall in love.

  1. Jodi is awesome – I loved meeting her, even if it was a very brief couple of passings-thru at Nationals. 🙂

It’s really odd how you can read the same book blurb a few times in different places and the blurb doesn’t

  2. oos – enter too fast!

blurb doesn’t QUITE catch your eye, but then the next time you see it, you’re dying to read the book.

And presented against your lovely clean blog background I totally want to read both books now.

(I don’t suppose my oops qualifies me for two entries? 😉
